If you had asked me three months ago what were my thoughts on drinking tea every morning, I would have tried to prove to you how drinking a cup of flavored hot water felt discussing to me.
For years, I never understood the fascination with drinking tea, nor why would people ditch coffee over it. The only time I considered drinking it, was if it came with a side of small sandwiches and pastries in some British tea house. But the time came when my stomach ulcers craved for something to soothe the pain and coffee were definitely not it. A friend who had fought cancer a year back was the one who introduced me to the organic Chaga tea and told me the amazing benefits of the anti-tumor Chaga, as she called it.
Well, I was raving hearing about the benefits but the thought of drinking tea kept making me push back the decision of ditching coffee for good. Until one morning that my stomach pain was so excruciating that I faced drinking the tea as quickly as you would take medicine, you don’t like.
I was delighted when I realized the tea didn’t taste like hot flavored water after all! In fact, I could barely feel any taste at all, except a mild vanilla-like flavor which was actually very nice. There I was, in all my mighty skepticism, drinking a cup of tea in the morning. The first of many as it turned out.
Not only do I recommend it, but I also make sure I tell everyone how I hated tea before drinking Chaga Earth’s organic wild mushroom tea. And yes, everyone makes a face when I say mushroom tea! It’s hilarious! And then they taste it and it’s all good.
