I had heard about the levels of pollution in the big cities in India but I wasn’t prepared for what I would find. there are days when pollution is so bad that your eyes water all the time. For the first week of living there, I was sick almost every day. Despite taking all the shots needed before traveling there and having a suitcase full of antibiotics, nothing was working. I really needed to give my immune system time to adjust and my body to deal with the new environment. Antibiotics were great but they weren’t helping me in the long term.
I’m so glad I packed my Chaga Earth organic Chaga tea and that it wasn’t held in customs when I entered the country. When they asked me what it was, I said it was tea and they didn’t ask me further questions. I confess I didn’t think the tea would help me there as it did back home, given that the pollution levels were a lot higher, but there was no harm in trying.
The reason why I started to drink wild Chaga mushroom tea was for the organic Chaga benefits like the anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Now it was the perfect time to test out the product in a hostile environment. I had my antibiotics ready in case the tea turned out not to be as powerful as I hoped, but for the first time in my life, I was glad I was wrong!
Pollution is still a big problem here but the tea helps me boost my immune system and helps me feel and stay healthy. Everything is in perfect balance.
Some colleagues at work have begun to drink it as well, after hearing my recommendations and how I managed to bounce back after a week of feeling sick. It’s not a magic trick I swear!
